Rail

Avignon has both an SNCF station and a TGV station, both the gare SNCF on boulevard St-Roch and the adjacent gare routière are close to Porte de la République, on the south side of the old city. Regular shuttles connect the TGV station with Avignon Centre - passengers are picked up or dropped off next to the post office, a short walk from the main tourist office. .There are regular TGV trains from Paris and many major French and European cities, during the summer you can catch a train from London (approx 8 hours).

Road

It's motorway almost all the way from Marseille Provence airport to Caumont. Follow the signs for the A7/E714 and take the motorway to Junction 24 (there is a 4.70€ toll). After the exit drive for 300m, turn right and drive for 85m, turn right onto the Route de Marseille and proceed for 500m, continue for another 1,000m on the D973. Take a left onto the D6 (avenue Jean Moulin) where you see the roadsign for Caumont. This road takes you straight to Caumont. Stay on the road taking you through the town until you pass the sign for leaving Caumont. Our villa is 500m on the left, sign posted on the road.
